Scope1.1 This specification2covers alloys UNS N08330 and UNSN08332 in the form of welded pipe intended for heat-resistingapplic
3、ations and general-corrosive service.1.2 The pipe covered is nominal pipe sizes up to andincluding size 12, with the nominal wall thicknesses given asSchedules 5S, 10S, 40S, and 80S. Table 2 of SpecificationB 775 is based on Table A1 of ANSI B36.19 and gives thenominal dimension of these sizes. Tabl

Materials and Manufacture6.1 The pipe shall be made from flat-rolled alloy conform-ing to Specification B 536, by an automatic welding process
16、with no addition of filler metal. Subsequent to welding andprior to final heat treatment, the material shall be cold workedeither in both weld and base metal or in weld metal only.6.2 Heat TreatmentPipe of UNS N08330 alloy shall beannealed at 1900F (1040C), minimum. Pipe of UNS N08332alloy shall be
17、annealed at 2100F (1150C), minimum.7. Chemical Composition7.1 The material shall conform to the composition limitsspecified in Table 1. One test is required for each lot as definedin Specification B 775.7.2 If a product analysis is performed, it shall meet thechemistry limits prescribed in Table 1,
18、subject to the analysistolerances specified in Table 1 of Specification B 775.8. Mechanical Properties and Other Requirements8.1 Mechanical PropertiesThe material shall conform tothe mechanical property requirements specified in Table 2. Onetest is required for each lot as defined in Specification B
19、 775.8.2 Flattening TestAflattening test shall be made on eachend of one pipe per lot. Superficial ruptures resulting fromsurface imperfections shall not be cause for rejection.8.3 Nondestructive Test RequirementsEach pipe shall besubjected to either a pressure test or a nondestructive electrictest
20、at the manufacturers option. The purchaser may specifywhich test is to be used.8.4 Grain SizeAnnealed alloy UNS N08332 shall con-form to an average grain size of ASTM No. 5 or coarser.9. Lengths9.1 Lengths may be ordered as either random lengths(normally 15 to 24 ft (4.6 to 8.3 m), with some agreed
21、uponallowance for shorts) or specific cut lengths.10.
