31、of determining conform-ance to the chemical composition requirement, each heat or lotin a shipment shall be considered separately. All samples shallbe taken from finished part or material in the condition inwhich it is received, except that all protective surface treat-ments shall be removed before
32、sampling. Sample material shallbe free from scale, grease, dirt, and other foreign materials andshall be taken in such a manner as to prevent alteration of thechemical composition of the sample. Sampling shall be inaccordance with Practice E 55 for wrought material or PracticeE 88 for cast material,
33、 as applicable, insofar as practicable.6.
