Conformance Criteria (Explanatory Note 7)8.1 Any lot of wire, the samples of which comply with theconformance criteria of Section 5, shall be considered ascomplying with the requirements of this standard. If a failure of an individual productionunit occurs, material which was made between the non-conforming unit and the last production unit which passed theconformance criteria must be inspected for the non-conformingcharacteristic.9. This tin alloy, as well as the amountof tin present, has an effect on the resistivity of the wire. Since the relativeamount of tin coating and alloy is greater as the size decreases, theresistivity of the wire increases as the size decreases.(2) The manufacturer and user of the standard should also giveconsideration to any agreed upon cast and camber requirements for ribbonwire applications.NOTE 2The equivalent round diameter
