Physical Requirements Physical Requirements5.1 At the time o
11、f delivery to the site of the work, the unitsshall conform to the requirements prescribed in Table 1.6. Dimensions and Permissible Variations6.1 The thickness of any unit shall be not less than 5 in. (127mm).6.2 Overall dimensions shall not vary by more than 6 3%from the specified dimensions.7. Samp
12、ling and Testing7.1 The purchaser or his authorized representative shall beaccorded proper facilities to inspect and sample the units at theplace of manufacture from the lots ready for delivery.7.2 Units shall be sampled and tested in accordance withTest Methods C 140.7.3 Except as specified in Sect

16、e sound and free of cracks or otherdefects that interfere with the proper placing of the unit.9. Compliance9.1 If a sample fails to conform to the specified require-ments, the manufacturer shall be permitted to remove unitsfrom the shipment. A new sample shall be selected by thepurchaser from remain
17、ing units from the shipment with asimilar configuration and dimension and tested at the expenseof the manufacturer. If the second sample meets the specifiedrequirements, the remaining portion of the shipment repre-sented by the sample meets the specified requirements. If thesecond sample fails to me
