This practice is applicable to SCC with a nominal maximum aggregate size up to 25 mm1 in. and a slump flow of 500 mm 20 in. or greater. If the slump flow is less than 500 mm 20 in. follow the fabricationprocedures described in the stand
4、ard for which the test specimen is required.1.2 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in eachsystem may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. Combining values from the

Sampling Concrete6.1 The sample of concrete from which test specimen
19、s are to be fabricated shall be representative of the entire batch. The sampleshall be obtained Obtain a sample of freshly mixed self-consolidating concrete in accordance with Practice C172, or PracticeC192/C192M., and place it in the sample receptacle.7. Procedure7.1 Measure and record the slump fl
20、ow of the sampled concrete in accordance with Test Method C1611/C1611M. For concretewith a slump flow of 500 mm 20 in. or greater, fabricate test specimens as follows.7.2 Identify, position, and prepare the specimen container, and any related equipment, as described in the practice or test methodfor
21、 which the test specimen is required.7.3 Fill Pouring VesselFill Immediately fill the pouring vessel with a representative portion of SCC from the samplereceptacle, either by passing the pouring vessel through the SCCconcrete or by scooping concrete into the vessel.7.4 Fill the specimen container wi
22、th SCC by tilting and then moving the pouring vessel around the perimeter of the containerto allow the SCC to flow into the container and to ensure an even distribution of concrete.7.4 Filling ProcedureDuring the filling process, position the Immediately fill the specimen container with SCC by tilti
