Composition and Properties3.1 The pigments shall consist of the product known com-mercially as phthalocyanine green, with or without phthalo-cyanine blue or other ingredients incorporated during manu-facture to improve or alter the properties of the pigment, butfree of any other colo
6、ring matter either organic or inorganic.The pigment shall conform to the following requirements:Moisture and other volatile matter, max, % 3.0Coloring matter other than phthalocyanines none3.2 Mass Color and Character of TintThe mass color, andthe character of the tint formed by mixture with a white
7、pigment, and the strength, shall be within mutually agreed-upon limits of a standard acceptable to both the purchaser andthe seller.3.3 Oil AbsorptionThe oil absorption shall be between 90and 110 % of that of a reference sample mutually agreed uponbetween the purchaser and the seller.3.4 Reaction in
8、 Identification TestsThe pigment shallshow the same reaction in identification tests (5.5-5.8)asareference sample mutually agreed upon between the purchaserand the seller.4. Sampling4.1 Two samples shall be taken at random from differentpackages from each lot, batch, days pack, or other unit ofprodu
9、ction in a shipment. When no markings distinguishingbetween units of production appear, samples shall be takenfrom different packages in the ratio of two samples for each4545 kg or (10 000 lb), except that for shipments of less than1000 lb, two samples shall be taken. At the option of thepurchaser,
10、each sample may be tested or samples from thesame production may be blended in equal quantities to form acomposite sample.5. Test Methods5.1 Tests shall be conducted in accordance with the appro-priate ASTM test methods. Test procedures not covered byASTM test methods shall be mutually agreed upon b

Stir oc
12、casionally for 15 min,heating if necessary. A dark greenish yellow to a dark reddishcolor forms, depending on the degree of bromination. Pour thesolution into 250 mL of water and stir. The phthalocyaninegreen will immediately precipitate as a flocculent mass.5.5.2 Filter off the precipitate, washing
13、 once or twice withwater. 17、2 to 50 mg/L) in H2SO4(sp gr 1.84).The absorption maxima are so sharp and well defined that they may beused for positive qualitative identification of the various phthalocyaninepigments. Phthalocyanine green has maxima at approximately 820 and860 nm for bromine-free types; for the chlorinated-bromin
