Terminology3.1 Definitions of terms used in this specification shall be inaccordance with Terminology D 883.3.2 lot, none production run or a uniform blend of two ormore pro

Requirements5.1 The sheet and film shall be manufactured from poly-chlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE) plastics that consist of at least

17、90 % chlorotrifluoroethylene. The remaining 10 % may in-clude chemical modifications, such as co-monomers, but notcolorants, fillers, plasticizers, or mechanical blends of otherresins.5.2 The length, width, roll core diameter, and maximumnumber of splices permitted shall be as agreed upon betweenthe

18、 purchaser and the seller. The tolerance for roll width shallbe 3 % mm (18 in.). The tolerance for roll length shall be 610 % of the specified length.5.3 Thickness tolerances shall be as specified in Table 1.5.4 The sheet and film shall conform to the property valuesspecified in Table 2, Table 3, an

19、d Table 4.5.5 The material shall be essentially free from contamina-tion, wrinkles, holes, scratches, and other imperfections unlessotherwise agreed upon between the purchaser and the seller.6. Sampling6.1 Sampling shall be statistically adequate to satisfy therequirements of 10.4.7. Number of Tests

20、7.1 One set of test specimens as prescribed in Section 8shall be considered sufficient for testing each batch. Theaverage result of the specimens tested shall conform to therequirements of this specification.8. Specimen Preparation8.1 ConditioningFor those tests where conditioning isrequired, condit

21、ion the test specimens in accordance withProcedureAof Practice D 618 for a period of at least 24 h priorto test.8.2 Test ConditionsUnless otherwise specified, conducttests at the Standard Laboratory Temperature of 23 6 2C (70to 77F) and at 50 6 5 % relative humidity.8.3 Preparation of SpecimensTake

22、test specimens acrossthe width of the roll.9. Test Methods9.1 ThicknessMeasure the thickness of the sheet of film inaccordance with Test Methods D 374, MethodAor C. Measurethe sample across the web width at 25-mm (1-in.) increments.All readings shall be within the specified tolerances. Abnormalreadi

23、ngs may occasionally result from spot imperfections.Discard such readings and take new readings in the same area(excluding the defect).9.2 Tensile Strength and ElongationDetermine tensilestrength and elongation of the sheet or film in accordance withTest Methods D 882, Method A. The specimen size sh

24、all be 25by 127 mm (1 by 5 in.). Elongation rate shall be 508 mm (20in.)/min. Separation between jaws shall be 51 mm (2 in.).Edges of the specimen shall be parallel within 2 % of thewidth.9.3 Dimensional StabilityTest dimensional stability of thesheet or film in accordance with Test Method D 1204 af

Inspection and Certification10.1 Inspection and certification of the material suppliedwith reference to a specification based on this specificationshall be for conformance to the requi

30、rements specified herein.10.2 Lot-acceptance shall be the basis on which acceptanceor rejection of the lot is made. The lot acceptance inspectionshall consist of thickness measurement.10.3 Periodic check inspection with reference to this speci-fication shall consist of the test for all requirements

31、of thematerial in accordance with this specification.10.4 Certification shall be that the material was manufac-tured by a process in statistical control, sampled, tested, andinspected in accordance with this specification, and that theaverage values for the lot meet the requirements of thisspecifica

32、tion.10.5 A report of test results shall be furnished when re-quested. The report shall consist of results of the lot-acceptanceinspection for the shipment and the results of the most recentperiodic-check inspection.11. Packaging and Package Marking11.1 PackagingThe material shall be packaged in sta

33、n-dard commercial containers so constructed as to ensure accep-tance by common or other carriers for safe transportation at thelowest rate to the point of delivery, unless otherwise specifiedin the contract or order.11.2 MarkingShipping containers shall be marked withthe name of the material, type,

34、size, and quantity containedtherein. Each roll of tape shall be marked to designate type,grade, and lot number. The marking will be in the core and onthe pallet.11.3 All packing, packaging, and marking provisions ofPractice D 3892 shall apply to this specification.12. Keywords12.1 chlorofluorocarbon
