1、Designation: D 3647 03Standard Practice forClassifying Reinforced Plastic Pultruded Shapes Accordingto Composition1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D 3647; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year
2、 of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope*1.1 This practice outlines a method for classifying rein-forced plastic pultruded shapes according to their composit
3、ion.1.2 One objective of this practice is to provide a codificationmeans and descriptive limits for classification.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establish appro-priate

Terminology2.1 The definitions of reinforcement material, reinforcementtype, resin type, and filler amount and their respective levelsare described below.NOTE 1As an example, a pultruded shape made

Classification3.1 In classifying the reinforced plastic pultruded shapeaccording to composition, four separate aspects of the compo-sition will be considered.3.2 The composition wil

In addi-tion, the letter itself will have further specific descriptive value.3.3 The classification method will be based upon the four-letter code
