ASTM D4217-2007(2017) Standard Test Method for Gel Time of Thermosetting Coating Powder《热固性涂层粉末凝胶时间的标准试验方法》.pdf

、Designation: D4217 07 (Reapproved 2017)Standard Test Method forGel Time of Thermosetting Coating Powder1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D4217; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last rev

、ision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This test method determines the length of time athermosetting coating powder takes to gel on a polished metalsurface at a spec

、ified temperature, such as 204C (400F). Thedetermination of the gel time is a very simple method for thecharacterization and quality control of coating powders. However, the gel time determined by this method is notdirectly related to the time for the coating powder to cure inpractical applications.1

、.2 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establish appro-priate safety and health practices and determine the applica-bility of regulatory limitations prior to use.1.3 This interna
