Materials and Manufacture4.1 Asphalt roof coatings shall consist of an asphalt base,volatile petroleum solvents, and mineral or other stabilizers, orboth, excluding asbestos fiber, mixed to a s
10、mooth, uniformconsistency suitable for application by squeegee, three-knotbrush, paint brush, roller, or by spraying.5. 12、ring.6.2 ConsistencyThe roof coating shall be of a consistencythat will spread readily and permit application by squeegee,brush, roller or spray at the rate of 1.25 m2/litre 50 ft2/gal onprepared roofing, saturated felt, and metal surfaces at ambienttemperatures above 10C 50F. Consistency at 25C 77F
13、shall be between 50 and 400 Stormer s/100 revolutions.6.3 Behavior at 60C 140FThe roof coating shall showno evidence of blistering, and sag or slide shall be no greaterthan 6 mm 14 in. Staining or absorption of the coating on thereverse side of the prepared roofing test panel shall not exceed5 % of
