ASTM D4887-1999(2003) Standard Practice for Preparation of Viscosity Blends for Hot Recycled Bituminous Materials《热再循环沥青材料粘性掺合物制备的标准试验方法》.pdf

1、Designation: D 4887 99 (Reapproved 2003)Standard Practice forPreparation of Viscosity Blends for Hot RecycledBituminous Materials1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D 4887; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of rev

2、ision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This practice covers the procedure for preparation of hotrecycled bituminous blends for testing in

3、 the laboratory. Theprocedure involves an iterative trial blend process followed bythe preparation of batch blends.1.2 The batch blends can be used for extensive evaluationsuch as viscosity, penetration, ductility, aging properties (suchas Rolling Thin Film Oven or Thin-Film Oven tests, or both(RTFO

A 10.0 6 0.1-g (minimum) trial blendconsisting of the recycling agent or paving grade asphalt andreclaimed RAP binder is prepared in the laboratory. Theviscosity

If the blend viscosity is not within the limits ofSpecification D 3381 about the target value, another trial blendis prepared using adjusted proportions of the same or analternate grade modifier, or both, and the RAP binder. A bat

The accuracy of Test Method D 2171 is not significantlyaffected by the change in sample size.4. Significance and Use4.1 A standard procedure for blend preparation is essentialto ensure material qu
