41、uct. A space mustbe used as a separator between the specification number andthe type designation. No separators are needed between type,class and grade. When special notes are to be included, suchinformation shall be preceded by a comma. Special tolerancesmust be noted at the time of order and are i
42、nserted after thegrade in parenthesis and preceded by a comma.5. Ordering Information5.1 All shapes covered by this standard shall be orderedusing the proper callout designation (see 4.5).6. Physical Property Requirements6.1 The physical property values listed in the tables of thisstandard are to be
43、 considered minimum specification values.Any requirement for specific test data for a given productionlot shall be specified at the time of order. Physical propertiesfor products not yet included in Table 1 S-PC are specifiedusing Table 5 for extruded or compression molded products.7. Dimensional Re
44、quirements7.1 The type, class and grade is differentiated based ondimensional stability (elevated temperature excursion test), asindicated in Table 1 S-PC.7.2 Products shall be produced within commercial toler-ances and with the lowest stress levels for machined parts asdelineated in Table 2 A-1, Ta
45、ble 3 B-1, and Table 4 B-2.7.3 Tubular bar dimensions shall be supplied in the unfin-ished condition, unless otherwise specified at time of order,sufficient to finish to the nominal dimension ordered.7.4 The maximum allowable camber and/or bow shall bewithin the limits referenced in Table 2 A-1, Tab
46、le 3 B-1, andTable 4 B-2.8. Workmanship, Finish, and Appearance8.1 AppearanceThe resin material color is transparentwith water-white or light straw color. Natural resin is alsooffered with various amounts of blue tinting. The product colorshall be as published by the shapes manufacturer. They shall
47、beuniform in color throughout the thickness. Specific colors andcolor matching only as agreed to by order.8.1.1 Physical properties, although unaffected by tinting,can be affected if coloring by other means.8.2 FinishAll products shall be free of blisters, wrinkles,cracks, gouges and defects that re
48、strict commercial use of theproduct. Special surface finish shall be supplied only whenspecified in the purchase order or contract.8.3 DefectsAll products shall be free of voids, dirt,foreign material and embedded particles exceeding 0.040 in.maximum diameter as defined in 8.3.1.8.3.1 The criteria f
49、or determining the internal cleanlinessshall be external visual inspection. A maximum number of twointernal defects per square foot of plate and one foot length ofrod and tubular bar are allowed. Clusters of defects less than0.040 in. diameter are to be counted as a single defect.8.3.2 For compression molded products, four defects up to0.080 in. diameter per square foot of plate are allowed.9. Sampling9.1 Sampling shall be statistically adequate to satisfy therequirements of this classification system as applicable (see
