ASTM D6542-2005 Standard Practice for Tonnage Calculation of Coal in a Stockpile《计算料堆中煤吨数的标准实施规程》.pdf

1、Designation: D 6542 05Standard Practice forTonnage Calculation of Coal in a Stockpile1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D 6542; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number i

2、n parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This practice is used to calculate the mass (commonlyexpressed in tons) of coal in a storage pile using the volume ofthe stockpile by Test Met

3、hod D 6172 and the density of thecoal determined by Test Method D 6347/D 6347M.1.2 This practice is applicable to all ranks of coal.1.3 The user of this standard determines when the densityvalues provided by the survey require an adjustment formoisture.1.4 The values stated in either inch-pounds or

The values stated in each system are notexact equivalents; therefore, each system must be used inde-pendently of the other. Combining values from the two systemscan result in nonconformance with th

It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establish appro-priate safety and health practices and determine the applica-bility of regulatory limitations prior to use
