One laboratory hasinvestigated one particular fine mist pump style and a hairspray product with six replicate tests per temperature variable, yielding no visual product leakage, v

For all specimens evaluated forstrokes to prime, the test yielded an average of 6.58 strokeswith a range of 6 to 7 strokes and a standard deviation of 0.53strokes. For the 23C specimens evaluated for output perstroke, the test yielded an average

36、of 0.136 g with a range of0.130 to 0.142 g and a standard deviation of 0.02 g. For the45C specimens evaluated for output per stroke, the testyielded an average of 0.136 g with a range of 0.131 to 0.142 gand a standard deviation of 0.02 g. Other pumps and contentswill have other averages and will hav

Users of this test method are suggestedto reference historical files of previous tests of similar pumpsand contents for an estimate of within laboratory repeatability. The Committee believes that because of this strong product andpump style dependenc
