One laboratory hasinvestigated one particular fine mist pump style and a hair spray product with six replicate tests p

For all specimens evaluated for strokes toprime, the test yielded an average of 6.58 strokes with a range of 6 to 7 strokes and a standard deviation of 0.53 strokes. For the23C specime

39、ns evaluated for output per stroke, the test yielded an average of 0.136 g with a range of 0.130 to 0.142 g and astandard deviation of 0.02 g. For the 45C specimens evaluated for output per stroke, the test yielded an average of 0.136 g witha range of 0.131 to 0.142 g and a standard deviation of 0.0

40、2 g. Other pumps and contents will have other averages and will havemore or less variability between replicate tests. Users of this test method practice are suggested to reference historical files ofprevious tests of similar pumps and contents for an estimate of within laboratory repeatability. The

41、Committee believes thatbecause of this strong product and pump style dependency, further investigation of repeatability and reproducibility is notpracticable.12.2 BiasThis test method practice has no bias because an accepted reference or referee value is not available.D6633 18313.
