ASTM E130-1987(2003) Standard Practice for Designation of Shapes and Sizes of Graphite Electrodes《石墨电极形状和尺寸的名称与符号》.pdf

1、Designation: E 130 87 (Reapproved 2003)Standard Practice forDesignation of Shapes and Sizes of Graphite Electrodes1This standard is issued under the fixed designation E 130; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year

2、of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This practice covers a number of specific graphiteelectrode shapes and sizes that are useful in spectrochemicalana

3、lysis.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas the standard. The values given in parentheses are forinformation only.2. Terminology2.1 preforma descriptive word applied to a commerciallyproduced spectroscopic electrode which is purified after ma-chining.3. Summary of Practice3.

4、1 The practice classifies electrodes by application andprovides dimensional specifications.4. Significance and Use4.1 This practice is intended as a reference for spectro-chemical methods that utilize graphite electrodes. Methodsshould employ and reference one of the electrode shapes in thispractice

5、, but if this is not possible, the method should includeelectrode specifications for the specific shape used.4.2 This practice should be referred to in a method byincluding a statement such as the following in the section onReagents and Materials:Graphite ElectrodesThe electrode(s) shall be of high-

Classes5.1 Seven classes of graphite electrodes are designated asfollows:5.1.1 Class CCounter Electrodes, for use opposite thespecimen or opposite the electrode that contains the specimen.5.1

7、.2 Class SSpecimen Electrodes, for use with liquid orparticulate specimens. Thin-wall cups allow faster burn off ofgraphite and faster consumption of the specimen. Undercutcups provide greater heating of the specimen.5.1.3 Class PSpecimen Electrodes, for use with noncon-ducting specimens or with spe
