5、ectrodesand provides dimensional specifications.4. Significance and Use4.1 This practice is intended as a reference for spectro-chemical methods that utilize nongraphite electrodes. One ofthe electrode shapes in this practice should be employed andreferenced in a method. If this is not possible, the
6、 methodshould include the specifications for the electrode used.4.2 This practice should be referenced in a method byincluding a statement such as the following in the section onReagents and Materials:Counter ElectrodeThe electrode shall conform to Type(insert the Type designation from this practice

Materials and Dimensions5.1 The materials and dimensions of the counter electrodesare given in Fig. 1, along with the tolerances where applicable.5.1.1 The composition of these electrodes, if they have beenestablished, are given in Fig. 1.6.
