ASTM E661-2003 Standard Test Method for Performance of Wood and Wood-Based Floor and Roof Sheathing Under Concentrated Static and Impact Loads《在集中静载荷和冲击载荷下木制及木基楼板和屋顶覆盖层性能的标准试验方法》.pdf

1、Designation: E 661 03Standard Test Method forPerformance of Wood and Wood-Based Floor and RoofSheathing Under Concentrated Static and Impact Loads1This standard is issued under the fixed designation E 661; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in

Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.INTRODUCTIONDuring construction and occupancy of a building, floor and roof sheathing are subj

Static loads may simulate either foottraffic, or loads from fixtures, when applied through loading disks of appropriate size. 4、kely to be critical in strength or stiffness, or both, under foottraffic and construction loads, while single-layer floors are generally critical under fixture loads, foottraffic, and in-service impact loads. Subfloors, like single floors, must also support fixture loads, butthey will have an additi

Scope1.1 This test method covers procedures for determining theresistance to deflection and damage of floor and roof sheathingused in site-built construction subjected to concentrated staticloads a

Surface indentation is not evaluated sepa-rately from deflection.1.2 Three applications are covered: roof

7、 sheathing, sub-floors, and single floors. Roof sheathing is tested in both a dryand a wet condition, while subfloors and single floors are bothtested in a dry condition, as well as a condition of having driedout after being wet. These moisture conditions are thosecommonly experienced with site-buil

17、ignificance and Use5.1 The procedures outlined will provide data that can beused to evaluate the structural performance, under concentratedloads, of roof and floor sheathing, separate from the effects ofthe framing, under simulated conditions representative of thosein actual service.5.2 The procedur

Apparatus6.1 Concentrated LoadThe apparatus for the concentratedload test shall conform to the following requirements (see Fig.

19、1):6.1.1 SupportsThe framing members shall be supportedin order not to deflect under the applied loads. The supportsystem shall include provisions for rigidly restraining the endsof the framing members, as with blocking and clamps, toprevent rotation or vertical movement during testing.6.1.2 Loading

20、 DeviceAny convenient means may be usedfor applying a compressive load up to ultimate, and formeasuring the load within 61 % accuracy. Load shall beapplied through a ball-and-socket joint to assure even applica-tion.6.1.3 Loading DisksTwo steel disks are required, onehaving a diameter of 25 mm (1 in

The edge of theloading disk contacting the test specimen shall be rounded to aradius not exceeding 1.5 mm (0.06 in.).6.1.4 Deflection Gage, mounted on a rigid t
