General Requirements5.1 The sample shall show no drainage of liquid and benoncaking and free flowing.Amoisture content of less than 0.5
9、weight % is required to meet the free-flowing characteristics ofa cullet that is predominantly of smaller particle size, 1.18-mm(No. 16) sieve or smaller.5.2 Screen SizeNo material shall be retained on a 6-mm(14-in.) screen. Material not exceeding 15 weight % shall passthrough a 106-m (No. 140) scre
10、en.5.3 Organic MaterialsThe total content of organicmaterials, as measured in accordance with Section 6, shall notexceed 0.2 weight % of dry sample, except for color-mixedglass where the content of organic material may exceed 0.2weight %. However, a content of organic material greater than0.2 weight
11、 % must be held within a tolerance of 60.05weight %, with a maximum organic limit of 0.4 weight %.5.4 Magnetic MaterialsThe total magnetic materials shallnot exceed 0.05 weight % of dry sample weight for flint glassand 0.14 weight % for colored glass of dry sample weight inaccordance with Section 6.
