Materials6.1 GeneralMicrowave ovens shall conform to the refer-enced documents listed in Section 2. Materials used shall befree from defects that would affect the performance or main-tainabil
36、ity of individual components or of the overall assembly.Materials not specified herein shall be of the same quality usedfor the intended purpose in commercial practice. Unlessotherwise specified herein, all equipment, material, and articlesincorporated in the work covered by this specification are t
37、o benew and fabricated using materials produced from recoveredmaterials to the maximum extent possible without jeopardizingthe intended use. The term “recovered materials” meansmaterials that have been collected or recovered from solidwaste and reprocessed to become a source of raw materials, asoppo
38、sed to virgin raw materials. None of the above shall beinterpreted to mean that the use of used or rebuilt products areallowed under this specification unless otherwise specified.6.2 Hardware and FittingsUnless otherwise specified(see 5.1), all hardware and fittings shall be corrosion-resistantor su
39、itably processed to resist corrosion in accordance with themanufacturers standard practice.6.3 Threaded PartsAll threaded parts shall conform toANSI B1.1.6.4 Cooking CavityUnless otherwise specified (see 5.1),the cooking cavity shall be constructed of Types 302, 304, or316 corrosion-resistant steel
40、conforming to SpecificationsA 167 orA 240, or aluminum alloy Type 3003-0 conforming toSpecification B 209. The cooking cavity shall be constructedand sealed to prevent spillage from draining into the ovenchassis.6.5 DoorUnless otherwise specified (see 5.1), the doorshall be constructed of Types 302

43、d Physical Requirements Design,Construction, and Physical Requirements7.1 GeneralMicrowave ovens shall conform to the refer-enced documents listed in Section 2. The oven shall bedelivered assembled with all components necessary to ensure afully functional product.7.2 Microwave Energy SourceMicrowave
44、 energy shall begenerated using one or more magnetron tubes or any othersuitable generating source of microwave energy. Microwaveenergy shall be interrupted and the generating source shall berendered inoperative (either turned off or switched to a standbymode) when the oven door is open or not secur
45、ely latched inthe closed position.7.2.1 Warning LabelA warning marking shall be affixedto the outer case assembly or adjacent to each service accesscover and adjacent to one of the fasteners that secures the outercase assembly to the oven chassis. A high voltage warninglabel shall also be placed nea
46、r the high voltage componentsinside the outer case. The label shall include but is not limitedto the following warnings:7.2.1.1 A warning of high voltage,7.2.1.2 Power supply must be disconnected before servic-ing,7.2.1.3 Access covers must be in place during use, and7.2.1.4 Servicing should be done
47、 only by authorized indi-viduals.7.2.2 Microwave Radiation Distribution Means shall beprovided to maintain uniform distribution of microwave radia-tion throughout the cooking cavity (see 11.6).7.2.3 Door Latch MechanismThe mechanical door latchmechanism shall be certified to be operable for no fewer
48、 than10 000 cycles without any visible deformation or inoperation.7.3 Magnetron Protection:7.3.1 Reflected EnergyWith the oven empty except forany required tray or sheet furnished by the manufacturer, theoven shall be capable of operation at maximum power outputfor1horonemaximum timer cycle, whichev
49、er is shorter,without damage to the magnetron or other oven components.7.3.2 Automatic ShutdownWhen specified (see 5.1), theovens shall automatically shift to a standby condition after anominal 60 s of nonoperation.7.3.3 Thermal ProtectionMeans shall be provided to pro-tect the magnetron from damage due to excessive heating.Protective devices shall be automatically resetable, or manu-ally resetable without requiring any disassembly of the oven.7.4 Circuit Protection:7.4.1 Excess Current DrawThe power supply shall beprotected against any da
