Summary of Test Method4.1 The procedure consists of mounting a sliding doorspecimen into a test assembly fixture which in turn is mountedto a wall supp

Significance and Use5.1 These test methods are intended to establish a measureof resistance for sliding door assemblies subjected to attacks(other than impacting glazing materials) by unskilled oropportunistic burglars. Resistance to higher levels of forcegenerated by s

17、killed burglary attack requires methods, such asalarms, communication, or apprehension systems, or specialsecurity glazing materials more sophisticated than those evalu-ated by these test methods. Technicians performing the testshould understand the intent of this test method and should betrained on

Thismethod does not evaluate glazing materials for breakage orde-glazing. Other standards must be used to evaluate forcedentry by impacting or removing gla

Glazing which breaks, but does not allowentry, shall not be considered a failure to attain the perfor-mance level.6.3

25、Multiple PanelsSliding door assemblies with a com-bination of operable panels and fixed panels (lites) shall beclassified and tested separately for each panel type. If multiplepanels within a sliding door assembly are identical in construc-tion and locking condition, only one panel need be tested.6.

26、4 Test SequencePerform the tests for each sliding doortest specimen in the sequence as outlined in Section 10. Thesequence for testing multiple panels shall be at the discretion ofthe testing agency.6.5 LoadingApply test loads and forces at a rate not toexceed 10 lb/s (45 N/s). Maintain performance
