17、. Other Requirements5.1 Abrasion ResistanceThe resistance to abrasion of thefinished panel materials shall be equivalent to or exceeding thatof other PVC sewer pipeline specifications for applications insanitary and storm sewer systems. In lieu of no abrasionperformance requirements being stated in
18、any of the existingPVC pipe standards, abrasion performance shall be obtained bytaking a minimum of three samples of the molded panel perproduction run and abrading the interior wall surface using aTaber Abrasion Test Method as given in referenced GuideG195. The testing shall be done employing an H1

21、 The flexibility factor, FF, shall be equalto or greater than 0.05. The FF is defined as the span (ordiameter) squared divided by EI of the subject panel segment.5.3 Joint LeakageWater tightness at the connection of onepanel segment with another panel segment shall be qualified byperforming both an

The joint shall show no leakage whena water pressure of 43.5 psi (0.3 MPa) is exerted eitherinternally or externally on the joint for a period of 3 min. Thisis a qualification test that shall be performed for each new PVCresin compo

Dimensions, Mass, and Permissible Variations6.1 Height of the Panel Segments ProfileThe minimumheight of the various panel segments shall be as shown inTables 1 and 2.6.
24、2 Wall Thickness of the Panel SegmentsThe minimumaverage wall thickness between the ribs shall be 0.24 in. (6.0mm); and no individual measurement shall be less than 0.22 in.(5.5 mm) when measured in accordance with 9.2.2.FIG. 1 Segmental Panel System FeaturesFIG. 2 Details of Fastening the Panel Seg
