Scope1.1 This specification prescribes requirements for the classification of low-alloy steel electrodes (solid, compositestranded and composite metal cored) and rods (solid) for gas metal arc (GMAW), gas tungsten arc (GTAW), and plasmaarc (PAW) welding.1.2 Safety and health issues and concerns a
43、re beyond the scope of this standard and therefore are not fully addressedherein. Some safety and health information can be found in the informative Annex Clauses A5 and A10. Safety andhealth information is available from other sources, including but not limited to ANSI Z49.1, Safety in Welding, Cut
