16、 wall face not less than 5 1 mm short of the front of the sink. The height of the legs of leg mounting brackets shall be specified by the purchaser when ordering. Type F sinks, although designed for fitting on to cabinets, may alternatively be supported by brackets and/or legs, as described above. 3

17、.4 Waste holes Outlets shall in all cases be suitable for waste fittings having flanges ofICZ diameter and the waste holes shall have a minimum diameter of 64 mm. They shall be suitable for the accommodation of waste fittings conforming to BS 3380 : - - Waste holes shall be bevelled (see Fig. 1) - A

Diagrams showing details of outlets 3.5 Overflows - Plain sinks shall have overflows of the weir type and their inverts shall be 32 mm below the3$rkd(eig. 2). _I Sinks with shelves shall have overflows of the slot type and the inverts in these

19、cases shall be 57 mm below thespill over (see Fig. 3). verflow slots in all cases shall be 76 mm x 19 mm. Sinks with ledge projections, when supplied with overflows, shail have overflows of either slot or weir type; for weir overflows, the inverts - shall be 32 mm below the 3- -Fig. 4b -. and for sl

20、ot overfows, the inverts shall be 57 mm below the 5311 oyer level 3.6 Hardwood pads When so ordered, sinks shall be provided with a hardwood pad attached to the front edge. This pad shail be 150 mm (nominal) shorter than the overall length of the sink. It shall be semi-elliptical in section and of s

21、uch size as to pro- ject not more than 6 mm above the surface of the top edge of the sink. It shall be attached by not fewer than three Con-ferroUs wood screws with countersunk heads size 10 mm x 38 mm screwed into plastics p1Ugs.i 4 O O O A a , O O Sinks for use with a bucket grating shall be suppl

22、ied with a hardwood pad. when so ordered. as required. Chromium plating shaii comply with the requirements of BS 1224. The bucket grating shall have two rubber buffers at the front arranged to make contact with the hardwood pad on the front edge of the sink. The grating shall be provided only ed or

23、chromium plated finish ! _- The bucket grating shi of brass not less than 10 mm thickwith e g either to the back of the sink or the wall. - - ._ - 3.8 Soap trays Soap trays shall be provided for the sinks with shelves. Each tray shall be adequately drained : A-=- - - Type C sinks with 70 mm ledge pr

24、ojection shall not have soap trays. . -_ _- - 3.9 Chain stay holes Wash basins shall be supplied in either of the fobwing conditions: (a) the basin shall not have a chain stay hole; Or - 0) the basin shall have a chain stay hole of 8 f 1 mm in diameter located as high as is practicable within the bo

If an overflow is provided, the chain stay hole shall be located above the level of the top of the overflow. - The British-Standard range of sinks shali include the following types and shall conform to the following table of dimensions subject to the permissible deviations from the work sizes sp
