It supersedes BS3056-7:1986, which is withdrawn. The l
6、ist of standard sizes given in this Part is based on that given in ISO5019 “Refractory bricks Dimensions Part6: Basic bricks for oxygen steel-making converters”, prepared by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This edition includes more of the sizes given in the ISO standard th
7、an the previous edition, whilst continuing to include the90 and100 series as additions. The radii of the bricks have been omitted from this edition, as this data was not used. A British Standard does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract. Users of British Standards are re

Bricks used in the constructio
10、n of electric arc furnace roofs are excluded from this Part and are given in BS3056-4. NOTE 1The tolerances on the sizes are not specified in this British Standard, and may be the subject of agreement between the manufacturer and purchaser. NOTE 2The titles of the publications referred to in this st
11、andard are given on the inside back cover. 2 Standard sizes The sizes of basic refractory bricks for use in steel making shall be as given in Table 1. All the bricks shall have a constant median dimension of150mm and a course height of100mm. 3 Size designations The designations of the sizes shall be
12、 as given in Table 1.
