It takes account of Am

10、endment Slip No.1, 1972 (AMD1064) and of Amendment Slip No.2, 1973 (AMD1218). It is being published in a number of Sections, as follows. Part 1: Requirements for systems with audible signalling only; Section 1.1: Installation; Section 1.2: Maintenance and records; Part 2: Requirements for systems wi

11、th remote signalling; Section 2.1: Installation; Section 2.2: Maintenance and records. Part 3: Requirements for detection devices, consisting of a number of separate Sections (3.1, 3.2, 3.3 etc.). The specifications for detection devices (including this Section of BS4737) are to be read in conjuncti

12、on with Section1.1 or Section2.1 (as appropriate). A British Standard does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract. 15、 Definitions For the purposes of this British Standard, the following definition applies in addition to those given in BS4737-2.1. 3.1 protective switch a detection device, associated with a moveable part (such as a door or window) designed to generate an alarm condition when the moveable part is op

16、ened 4 Circuit configuration Each protective switch shall be either a closed-circuit device, or an open-circuit device to which all connections are within the closed circuit and within the same enclosure. In open-circuit protective switches the contacts shall be hermetically sealed. A closed-circuit

17、 protective switch may include, as an additional feature, open-circuit contacts. When installed, it shall not be possible visually to determine the connection of the wiring inside the device from the orientation or otherwise of the wiring to the device. 5 Performance Each protective switch shall ope

18、rate in such a manner that an alarm condition shall be generated when the moveable part is opened in the normal manner prior to the appearance of a clear opening100mm wide. 6 Environment The requirements of this British Standard shall be met by the detector under any combination of the following env
