It takes into account recent changes anddevelopments in materials, com

21、ponents, cladding systems and design practice,such as sheeting profiles, surface coatings, fixing systems, thermal insulation, theuse of liners, and alleviation of condensation.Use of this documentAs a code of practice, this British Standard takes the form of guidance andrecommendations. 26、design and construction ofexternal cladding assemblies for roofs and walls of buildings in the UK, usinglongitudinally profiled sheeting as the external surface, including standing seam.It is not applicable to profiled sheeting used as a supporting substrate, decking,structural liner trays, fully su

27、pported profiled sheets, structural compositeformations of profiled metal sheeting and concrete, small element cladding orexceptional applications, such as buildings for cold storage.The principal profiled sheeting materials covered by this British Standard aresteel, aluminium, fibre cement, bitumen

28、 fibre and plastics, including insulatedsandwich panel assemblies of profiled sheeting, thermal insulation and linings.In addition to referencing performance recommendations, materials andcomponents identified by other British Standards, advice on other materialsand components which are in common us
