This sta

13、ndard is restricted to land and mobile stations in the mobile services and to portable and personal equipment which may operate in one or more radio-frequency channels in the frequency range below1000MHz and is intended for the transmission and the reception, either in a simplex or a duplex mode, of

14、 emissions modulated by a single information channel. In this standard, the equipment includes the aerial (antenna) change-over device or the duplexer, if used, but does not include: the aerial (antenna) or aerial (antenna) system except in the case of equipment using integral aerials (antennas); th

15、e input transducer of the transmitter; the output transducer of the receiver except in the case of equipment using integral transducers (seenote). NOTEThe performance of the equipment depends upon that of the input and the output transducers used. Assessing the performance of these transducers may b

16、e the subject of separate measurements which are outside the scope of this standard. This standard also provides for testing certain special sub-systems (see Clause10). 2 Object This standard belongs to a series of publications which, when completed, will describe recommended methods of measurement

17、to be used to ascertain the characteristics and performance of equipment used in the mobile services and to make possible the comparison of the results of measurements made by different observers. This standard applies to detailed methods of making measurements selected and recommended for assessing

18、 the essential properties of the equipment. It is not mandatory that measurements of all the defined characteristics be made. Either fewer or additional measurements may be appropriate. When additional measurements are desired or necessary, they preferably should be carried out in accordance with th

19、e standards laid down by other IEC Technical Committees or Sub-Committees or by other international bodies. Limiting values of the various quantities for acceptable performance generally will not be specified, as these normally will be given in the relevant equipment specifications, or in requiremen

20、ts laid down by the responsible regulating bodies. The methods of measurement mentioned in this standard are intended for type tests and acceptance tests, if these tests are agreed between manufacturer and user, but may also be used for factory tests. Section 1. Terminology 3 General terms and defin

21、itions In the terms and definitions below, certain of them are quoted from Article1 of the ITU Radio Regulations, edition of1982. They are identified by the number of the Radio Regulations definition. TheInternational Electrotechnical Vocabulary (IEV) reference number is added if the definitions con

22、form to those given in the IEV. 3.1 type a type comprises products having similar design features, manufactured by the same techniques and falling within the manufacturers usual range of ratings (see Notes2 and3) for these products NOTE 1Mounting accessories are ignored, provided they have no signif

23、icant effect on the test results. NOTE 2“Ratings” cover the combinations of: a) electrical ratings; b) sizes; c) behaviour under environmental stresses. 25、f a consignment on the basis of an agreement between user and manufacturer the agreement should cover: a) the sample size; b) the selection of tests; c) the extent to which the test specimens should conform to the requirements for the selected tests of the specification. 27、R1-3.7): 3.5.1 aeronautical mobile service a mobile service between aeronautical stations and aircraft stations, or between aircraft stations, in which survival craft stations may also participate (RR1-3.15) 3.5.2 land mobile service a mobile service between base stations and land mobile stations, o

28、r between land mobile stations (RR1-3.9) 3.5.3 maritime mobile service a mobile service between coast stations and ship stations, or between ship stations, in which survival craft stations may also participate (RR1-3.11) 3.5.4 port operations service a maritime mobile service in or near a port, betw
