10、91 BSI 08-1999 1 1 Scope This International Standard specifies the performance requirements and location for a key-locked starting system or other equivalent means of obviating unauthorized starting of earth-moving machinery. It applies to all types of earth-moving machinery as defined in ISO 6165.

11、This International Standard is not intended to provide protection to the authorized machine operator, nor to protect the machine against abuse, destructive vandalism, or theft. 2 Normative reference The following standard contains provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisio

12、ns of this International Standard. At the time of publication, the edition indicated was valid. All standards are subject to revision, and parties to agreements based on this International Standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent edition of the standard indi

14、on a machine defined as starting controls which, when activated either independently or in conjunction with other components, cause the starting device for the engine or other power source to start up 4 Requirements 4.1 Starting system The starting system shall have either a key-type ignition switch

15、 or a lockable master disconnection switch to obviate its unauthorized activation. 4.2 Locking devices Locking devices and any provision for padlocks used to secure the starling control shall be an integral part of the system. Locking devices shall be easily accessible to the authorized machine oper
