8、mmittee173, Technical systems and aids for disabled or handicapped persons, of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Terminology and conventions. The English text of the International Standard has been approved as suitable for publication as a British Standard without deviation.

9、Some terminology and certain conventions are not identical with those used in British Standards, attention is drawn especially to the following. Wherever the words “this part of ISO8669” appear, referring to this standard, they should be read as “this Part of BS7126”. As the French text has been omi

10、tted, the reference to the French index in the note to clause1 is no longer applicable. A British Standard does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract. Users of British Standards are responsible for their correct application. Compliance with a British Standard does not of

The terms do not individually or collectively define or rec

13、ommend a product of a specific design, style or size. NOTEIf a term has one or more permitted synonyms, the terms are listed in order of preference; deprecated synonyms are followed by the word “deprecated”.
