The principalchanges are further development of the test methods.Domestic and residential sprinklers are for use in fire sprinkler systems and aredesigned to provide an additional degree of protection of life and property,above that already achieved by the building design and the installati

18、on ofsmoke and/or fire detectors and systems. This British Standard presumes that thesprinkler protection will form part of an integrated fire safety system.Product certification/inspection/testing. Users of this British Standard are advisedto consider the desirability of third-party certification/i

45、 in Table 2.4.5.2 Water distribution4.5.2.1 Sprinklers other than sidewall sprinklersWhen sprinklers are tested in accordance with Annex C (C.1 and C.2), using theparameters given in Table 3 and Table 4, the minimum conditions specified inTable 4 shall be achieved and the minimum operating pressure

46、at any sprinklershall not be less than 0.5 bar.Sprinklers shall distribute water over a horizontal surface such that the dischargedensity collected in not more than four collection pans shall be at least0.6 mm/min. All other collection pans within the measurement area shall be atleast 0.8 mm/min.Eac
