14、ommittee CEN/TC 136 “Sports, playground and other recreational facilities and equipment”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2009, and con

The principal changes from the previous edition of EN 1509 are as follows: a) The general safety requirements and test methods have been adapted to the currently updated EN 913 with exclusions. b) The scope was extended for indoor standing as well as for indoor wheel chair
17、 badminton equipment. c) Inclusion of four different classes for the distinction of badminton equipment for competition or training including wheelchair equipment. d) Concretion of the requirements on posts and nets. e) Inclusion of requirements on the construction of top net lines. f) Extension of

This European Stand
21、ard is applicable to three types and four classes for indoor standing as well as for indoor wheel chair badminton equipment for competition and training (see 3.1). Other types and sizes as those described in this European Standard are permissible provided the safety requirements of this European Sta

24、ication Badminton equipment as a whole consisting of a pair of posts and a net shall be classified by the design (types and classes) as shown in Tables 1 and 2. 30、cture of type 3 and ground fixings These may be made of steel, light metal or synthetics, provided the requirements of this European Standard are fulfilled. Light metal shall be non-corrosive and steel protected against corrosion (e. g. hot-galvanized, powder coated or painted). 3.4.2 Net The net sh
31、all be made from synthetic fibres. 3.4.3 Top net line The top net line shall be made from synthetic cord or cable. 3.5 Design 3.5.1 Posts The construction of the posts shall be such that the top net line can be supported or guided at the heights h1and height h2 of Figure 1 and Table 3 at the centre
32、of the court. The posts shall be provided with appropriate fixings for the net. 33、de the court) to 91 (towards outside the court) measured over the total length of the post related to the sports surface. For classes A and B the inner post distance shall be between 6 010 mm and 6 020 mm measured at the top of the post. For classes A and B: The 3 sides of the posts orientated towar
34、ds the court (2 lateral, parallel to the back lines, and 1 facing the court) must have no protuberance into the court; Posts should have a dominant colour, excluding vivid, fluorescent or shiny colours; Posts should have a consistent profile size of 40 mm 1 mm diameter or 40 mm 1 mm side square); Fo
35、r adjustable posts (mainly used for Class B equipment), a reduction of 6 mm 1 mm in the profile shall be accepted. This reduction shall not be longer than 160 mm + 5 mm and the profile reduction cannot be on the lower part of the post (see Figure 3). Dimensions in millimetres Key aFor classes A and

37、iddle (see Figure 1). The mesh shall be not less than 15 mm and not more than 20 mm. 38、he mesh diagonal shall be between 21 and 29 mm. The mesh breaking force of the net shall be greater than 100 N when tested in line with EN ISO 1806. The top tape, when doubled, shall have a face of 37,5 mm 2 mm and shall be white. In position of use the net shall fill the space between the posts for
39、 its entire height. The top net line shall be inserted into the top tape. The ends of the top net line shall be designed so that they do not fray and so that they fit the appropriate tensioning and/or fixing devices. The end of the top net line shall be prevented from disappearing in the net band. T
40、he opening between the net on lateral side and the post shall not be greater than 10 mm. The net mesh shall be of dark colour. 3.5.3 Top net line The breaking resistance of the cord or cable must be greater than 20 daN. 3.5.4 Ground sockets All ground sockets shall be protected against corrosion. 4
41、Safety requirements 4.1 General General safety requirements except stability and strength shall comply with EN 913, if not otherwise specified in this European Standard. 4.2 Tensioning devices In position of use the tensioning devices (if any) shall be designed in such a way that they cannot start w
42、ithout control. They shall not be directed toward the court and they shall be designed so as to induce no risk to the players. 4.3 Other fixings Other fixings (if any) shall not be directed towards the court and they shall be designed so as to induce no risk to the players. 5 Test methods Requiremen
43、ts of Clause 3 for which no particular tests are indicated in the following shall be appropriately verified, e. g. by measurement, visual inspection, tactile or functional testing. Testing of the breaking forces of net yarn shall be done according to EN ISO 1806. Testing of the top net line and mesh
44、 shall be done according to EN ISO 2307. Testing of the tensioning devices and other fixings shall be made by visual inspection in position of use. 45、est report should include at least the following elements: a) date and name of person having done the test; b) reference to this standard EN 1509; c) description of test conditions (temperature etc.); d) description of equipment undergoing the test; e) description of the state of the equipment, incl
46、uding all anomalies observed before the start of the tests; f) description of any change in the equipment observed after the tests; g) results of the tests. 7 Instructions for use Each badminton equipment shall be accompanied by instructions for use including at least the following: a) designation o
47、f equipment; b) installation details; c) assembly covering method of adjustment and tensioning device; d) correct fastening of the net; e) maintenance details. 8 Marking Badminton equipment complying with this document shall be marked with the following information: a) number of this document EN 150
48、91)and the class of the equipment; b) name, trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, retailer or importer and the year of manufacture. 1)Marking EN 1509 on or in relation to a product represents a manufacturers declaration of conformity, i. e. a claim by or on behalf of the manufa
49、cturer that the product meets the requirements of this European Standard. The accuracy of the claim is therefore solely the responsibility of the person making the claim.
