24、 shall carry out the inspections and tests on each inspection lot. Unless otherwise stated, the pins shall be selected from the batch to be tested by simple random sampling. Each pin may be submitted to several tests. The pins to be subjected to destructive tests may be those on which non-destructiv
25、e tests have been performed. 28、rmity with the requirements of the material standard-line7 (heat treatment of use). This requirement applies on a pin or on a specimen, when pin dimensions do not allow to perform the test. See material standard. The specimen shall be: of the largest possible section; taken from apiece of semi-finis
29、hed product used for the manufacture of pins, and treated with them. One per inspection lot 5.4.2 Hardness Prior to surface coating, hardness on one end shall be in conformity with the requirements of the material standard-line7 (heat treatment of use). When there is no conformity: repeat the heat t
30、reatment of the inspection lot; use twice the initial number of specimens and measure hardness as specified above. See material standard.
