17、on elements of connection. It should be used together with EN 2591-100. 21、 stated: number of mating and unmating operations before test (if applicable); specimens mated or unmated (if applicable); mounting method, position and definition of specimen wiring; type of cable (if applicable); duration of the test; initial measurements (if applicable); final measurements and re
22、quirements (if applicable). 4 Apparatus 4.1 Test chamber The test chamber shall meet the requirements of EN 60068-2-11:1999, Clause 3. BS EN 2591-307:2012EN 2591-307:2012 (E) 5 4.2 Salt mist The salt solution shall meet the requirements of EN 60068-2-11:1999, Clause 4. 5 Method 5.1 Initial measureme
23、nts (if applicable) They shall be carried out as specified in the technical specification. 5.2 Procedure The specimens shall be tested in accordance with EN 60068-2-11:1999, Clause 7. 5.3 Recovery To aid in examination, specimens shall be prepared in the following manner, unless otherwise specified.
24、 Salt deposits shall be removed by a gentle wash or a dip in running water not warmer than 38 C and a light brushing, if necessary, using a soft-hairbrush or plastic-bristle brush. The specimens shall then be allowed to dry in accordance with EN 60068-2-11:1999, Clause 8. 5.4 Final measurements and
25、requirements (if applicable) The specimens shall be submitted to the following test sequence: EN 2591-101, paying particular attention to: cracking; flaking or peeling of the plating; pitting of exposed metal surfaces; EN 2591-205 (if applicable); EN 2591-408 (if applicable).This page deliberately l
