It shall be used together with EN2591. 2 Normative refer

21、eries Elements of electrical and optical connection Test methods Part312: Air leakage 1) . 3 Preparation of specimens 3.1 Any accessories which are not essential to the retention of the insert in the housing (shell) shall be removed. 3.2 Unless specified in the technical specification, the following
22、 details shall be stated: initial measurement; contacts may be installed in specimens; load; value for EN2591-312; value for measuring the displacement of the insert: 1) during the application of the load, 2) after removal of the load, final measurement and requirements (if applicable). 4 Method 4.1
23、 Initial measurement Measurement of the position of the insert in the housing (shell). 4.2 Procedure The specimens shall be submitted to an axial load applied to their front face. It shall be increased at a nominal rate of70kPa/s until the specified value is reached, then maintained for a minimum of
24、5s. 4.3 Final measurement and requirements (if applicable) The displacement of the insert shall be measured under load; it shall not be greater than the specified value.
