29、n cross-linked polyvinylidene fluoride with meltable sealing rings of uncrosslinked polyolefin compound at each end. 4.2.2 Crimp barrel The crimp barrel shall be copper alloy ASTM B 75. 4.2.3 Plating of crimp barrel The plating of the crimp barrel shall be tin in accordance with ASTM B 545 or nickel

36、mbly tooling 8.1 Crimping tools Crimping tools shall conform to the requirements of MIL-DTL-22520/37. 8.2 Heating devices Hot air heating devices shall be fitted with reflectors to concentrate the heat and protect adjacent materials from damage and shall produce an air temperature of 280 C to 340 C
37、in the active zone of the reflector. For heating in areas where there may be a hazard due to the presence of flammable vapours only heaters specially designed and approved for use in such areas shall be used. 9 Marking The item code as per Table 1 shall be indicated by a coloured band or coloured ba
38、nds on the crimp barrel as shown in Figure 1. 10 Packaging The packaging is to be marked with the EN designation, manufacturers name, part number, the quantity in the package and the date of manufacturer and batch number.
