16、dfloorcoveringtothemovementofafurniturelegwithroundededgesanddifferent loadingsisassessedfordeteriorationinsurfaceflatness,surfacedamage,cutsofvaryingdepthsandpenetrating edges. 3 Apparatus(seeFigures1to3) 3.1 Aframe,comprisingtwoguiderailsfixedrelativetothetestpiecesupportingthemotorandthecontrol c

23、reatleast100mmfromtheedgeofthetestpiece.Choosetwoseparatetestpaths wherethestructureofthefloorcoveringcouldcausedifferentresultsfortestsindifferentdirections,i.e.longitudinal andtransversedirection,ortheprincipalrelieflinesinthepatternforsheetfloorcoverings,orparalleltotheedge anddiagonallyfortilesl

24、aidalternately. 6.2Testing Checkthetestpieceandguiderailstoensurethattheyarehorizontal.Removeanydustonthetestpiece. Fixtheappropriatefootundertheplatformwithtwoedgesparalleltotheframerails.Placethecarriageandthe platformontherailsandthetestpiece,andthenplacethemassontheplatform. After1min,pullthefre

25、eendofthecable(whichisturnedonceroundthecapstan),withoutexceedingaforceof 1kN,tomovetheentireunithorizontallyataspeedof150mm/sto200mm/soveradistanceofapproximately 700mm.EN424:2001(E) 6 Repeatthetesttwiceontwotestpathsineachdirectionforadistanceofatleast700mm.
