Foreveryuseofastandardisedcastaluminiumoraluminiumalloyforthefabricationofarticlesforuseincontact withfoodstuff,theconformitywiththisEuropeanStandardshallbeestablishedbycheckingthemaximumcontents specifiedinEN1706againsttherequirementsin4.1or4.2asapplicable. NOTE Itisstronglyrecommendedtousestanda

Theselectionofthealuminiumoraluminiumalloyforagivenapplicationshallbetheresponsibilityoftheend productmanufacturer,dependingontheintendedfinaluse.EN601:2004(E) 7 6 Demonstrationofconformitywiththepresentstandard Themanufactureofcastingsusedforthefabricationofarticle
32、sforusedesignatedtobeincontactwithfoodstuff shallbecarriedoutintheframeworkofaqualityassurancesystem.Withinthisqualityassurancesystem,the manufacturershallmaintainaproceduretocontroltherequirementsofthepresentstandard(seeclause4). Specialattentionshallbegivento: thequalificationofrawmaterialsenterin
33、gintotheformulationoftheproducts;andto traceabillityofdeliveredproductstothemeasurementofthechemicalcompositionofthematerialsused (seeclause5). NOTE Thequalificationofrawmaterialscanbebasedeitheronactualmeasurementsdonebytheproduceroron certificatesofconformityobtainedfromthesupplierofsaidrawmateria
