21、able methods of chemical analysis 3 Terms and definitions For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply. 3.1 nominal diameter: d value of the diameter, expressed in millimetres, by which the wire is designated and specified by the purchaser NOTE This is the basis on wh
22、ich the values of all relevant characteristics are determined for the acceptance of the wire 3.2 actual diameter arithmetic mean of two measurements of the diameter at right angles determined at any cross-section 3.3 out of roundness arithmetic difference between the maximum and minimum diameters me
23、asured in a transverse cross-section perpendicular to the wire axis EN 10323:2004 (E) 5 4 Classification Bead wire is classified according to tensile strength. It is supplied in two classes of tensile strength: NT: Normal tensile strength; HT: High tensile strength. 5 Designation and ordering 5.1 De
24、signation For products supplied in accordance with this document, the designation shall state in the following order: the term: bead wire; for flat wire after the term bead wire: flat; the coating: see 6.1.3; the number of this document; for flat wire the dimensions expressed as width x thickness: 3
25、 x 1,5; the tensile strength class (see 4); for round wire the nominal diameter. EXAMPLE Bronze coated bead wire 1,295 mm high tensile strength conforming to EN 10323 shall be designated: Bead wire bronze coated EN 10323 HT 1,295. 5.2 Information to be supplied by the purchaser The purchaser shall c
26、learly state in his enquiry or order the product and following information: for round wire the nominal diameter; the desired quantity; the unit and type of delivery; if cumar residue coating is required (see 6.1.3); if an adhesion test is required and if so what kind of adhesion test (see 6.4.3); th

EN 10323:2004 (E) 6 6 Requirements 6.1 Material 6.1.1 Steel The wire shall be manufactured from steel rod conforming to EN 10016-1 and EN 10016-2 for tensile st
28、rength NT and conforming to EN 10016-4 for tensile strength HT. 6.1.2 Chemical composition The chemical composition according to the heat analysis shall conform to the limit values given in Table 1. The permissible deviation of the product analysis from the heat analysis shall be in accordance with

30、ysical or chemical method of analysis for the determination of the product analysis shall be at the discretion of the supplier. In cases of dispute the analysis shall be carried out by a laboratory approved by the two parties. The method of analysis to be applied shall be agreed upon, if possible, i
31、n accordance with CR 10261. 6.1.3 Metallic coating Round wire shall be supplied with one of the following coatings: brass, bronze 1 or bronze 2. In addition, the purchaser may specify the application of a cumar residue coating (see 5.2). Flat bead wire shall be supplied only as brass coated. The che
32、mical composition of the coating shall be in accordance with Table 2. Bronze 2: Higher coating thickness. 6.2 Mechanical properties 6.2.1 Te
33、nsile strength 6.2.1.1 Tensile test results Indicative tensile strength values are given in Table 3. EN 10323:2004 (E) 7 6.2.1.2 Breaking force and elongation When the wire is tested in accordance with 7.2.1, the minimum breaking force and elongation at rupture shall conform to the values given for
34、the relevant class in Table 3. 6.2.1.3 Yield strength and 0.2 % proof stress (F 0,2 ) When the wire is tested in accordance with 7.2.1, the force at 0,2 % proof stress shall be 80 % of the minimum breaking force specified in Table 3. 6.2.2 Torsion test When the wire is tested in accordance with 7.2.
35、2, the wire shall withstand the minimum number of torsions specified in Table 3 without fracture. 38、1N/mm 2 . 6.3 Surface quality 6.3.1 General The surface of the wire shall be smooth and free from grease and other contaminants. 6.3.2 Coating thickness When tested in accordance with 7.3 the coating thickness shall be in accordance with Table 4. 41、6.4.3 Adhesion Where an adhesion test is specified by the purchaser (see 5.2) the wire shall be tested using the method agreed between the purchaser and the supplier and shall conform to the adhesion requirements agreed between the purchase and the supplier. NOTE An example of a method for testing a
42、dhesion is given in Annex A. 6.5 Delivery conditions 6.5.1 Unit package The wire shall be supplied in units of one single length. The unit package of wire shall be wound on spools or as spoolless cores of dimensions to be agreed between the purchaser and the supplier. NOTE A list of the recommended
43、types of spool is given in Annex B. EN 10323:2004 (E) 10 6.5.2 Welds Welds at final size are permitted provided they are properly cleaned and smooth so as to permit proper processing. The weld and heat affected zone shall have a breaking force of a minimum of 40 % of the breaking force specified in
44、Table 3. 6.5.3 Wire straightness When tested in accordance with 7.2.4 the wire shall stay between the two lines. 6.5.4 Residual torsions When tested in accordance with 7.2.5 the end of the wire shall not rotate in either direction more than one full revolution around its axis. 7 Testing and inspecti
45、on 7.1 Tests and inspection documents Products conforming to this document shall be delivered with specific testing (see EN 10021) and the relevant inspection document in accordance with EN 10204 specified by the purchaser at the time of enquiry or order. 7.2 Test procedures 7.2.1 Tensile tests Tens
46、ile testing shall be carried out in accordance with EN 10218-1 and EN 10002-1 on samples comprising the full cross-section of the wire. The minimum breaking force, the elongation (At) at the moment of rupture and the force at 0,2 % proof stress F 0,2shall be recorded. The reference length for the el
47、ongation test shall be 200 mm. Other gauge lengths may be agreed between the parties. 7.2.2 Torsion test The test length used shall be as specified in Table 6. The test samples shall be subjected to a thermal ageing treatment at 150 C for 1 h. The torsion test shall be performed in accordance with 1
48、0218-1. Check if the wire sample stays between the two lines. 7.2.5 Residual torsions Bend t
