、itions. 3 Apparatus Unwinding equipment: Consisting of a machine allowing adhesive tapes to be unwound at a constant speed under the following conditions: unwinding speed: can vary between 15 m/min to 120 m/min 3 %. Where there is no variable speed, the following speed will be predetermined: 30 m/mi
、n 3 % and 60 m/min 3% ; a measurement scale reading: at least 0 to 10 N; 0 to 100 N maximum, capable of being read to the nearest 50 cN; the accuracy of the equipment shall be 1 % of the range of the measurement scale. 4 Test pieces The test pieces shall consist of rolls of adhesive tape typically m
、easuring between 6 mm and 50 mm in width and at least 100 m long. The rolls to be tested shall be conditioned for 24 h at 23 C 2 C and 50 % 5 % relative humidity prior to testing. Discard the first 3 turns of each roll before testing. 5 Procedure 5.1 Standard test conditions The test shall be carrie

Fix the free end into the clamp provided and start unwinding at the desired speed. 5.3 Read the unwinding force required every 15 s from the beginning of the unwinding process. Make at least 3 readings. 6 E
、xpression of results 6.1 Record the average of the values taken as being the value of the unwinding force. 6.2 Express the results in N/cm width of adhesive tape, recording the unwinding speed used and the diameter of the core. 7 Test report The test report shall include the following information: a
