The following information on series SSMC connectors is reproduced from the preface of CECC22180 Issue 2 which does not form part of this European Standard. Series SSMC con
8、nectors have a characteristic impedance of 50W and are normally used for low-power applications, in conjunction with flexible coaxial cables having a dielectric diameter of 0,86mm to 1,6mm. The connectors are usable up to a frequency of at least 6GHz, and may be used at higher frequencies if a refle
9、ction factor greater than 0,25 can be tolerated for straight connectors and0,33 for right-angle styles. A British Standard does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract. It prescribes mating-face dimensions for general purpose connectors, dimensional details for standard test connectors, Grade 0, together with gauging information and the mandatory tests, selected from CECC22000, applicable to all DSs relating to Series SSMC connectors. This specific
