19、rements in EN 913. This standard is applicable to three types of gymnastic hanging rings (see Table 1). 2 Normative references This European Standard incorporates by dated or undated references, provisions from other publications. EN 913:1996, Gymnastic equipment General safety requirements and test methods. 3 T ypes and classes 3.1 Classification Gymnastic equipment with hanging rings shall be classified by the design (types) as shown in Table 1. 26、s own vertical axis. For type 3 equipment the swinging mechanism shall allow swinging in the direction of intended use. 4.3 Dimensions All rings shall comply with the dimensions specified in Table 2 and Figure 5. The information booklet (see clause 7) shall contain the dimensions required for correc

29、s types 1 and 2 shall show no signs of fracture, rupture, defects or release of the adjustment mechanism (if any) when subjected to a vertical force of 4 530 N. When tested in accordance with 6.2, hanging rings shall show no permanent deformation of more than 10 mm in any direction when subjected to
30、 a horizontal force of: 775 N for types 1 and 2; and 2 140 N for type 3. NOTE The above mentioned forces have been calculated as follows, using the load factors in accordance with Table B.1 of prEN 1176-1:1996. For type 3 equipment the rope sh
33、all be spliced and shall not be swaged or clamped. 5.4 Height of axes For type 3 hanging rings the axes of rotation of the swinging mechanism shall be not more than 5,6 metres above the ground. 5.5 Space between ring sets The distance between ring sets (b 2 and b 3 ), in their position of intended u
34、se, shall be not less than 1 500 mm (see Table 2 and Figure 5). 6 Test methods 6.1 General Unless otherwise specified in the following, the requirements of clauses 4 and 5 shall be verified by measurement, visual examination or practical tests. Before testing the equipment shall be assembled accordi
35、ng to the manufacturers instructions into a condition similar to the position of use. 6.2 Strength 6.2.1 Vertical tests Carry out the vertical test in accordance with annex B of EN 913:1996 and as follows. Apply a vertical force of 4 530 N without shock on the hanging rings as shown in Figure 6. Not

37、izontal tests in accordance with annex B of EN 913:1996 and as follows. Apply a horizontal force of 775 N without shock on hanging rings types 1 and 2 as shown in Figure 7a). Apply a horizontal force of 2 140 N without shock on hanging rings type 3 as shown in Figure 7b). Determine any permanent def
38、ormation greater than 10 mm. 7 Instructions for use An information booklet shall be provided by the manufacturer/supplier containing the following: type according to Table 1; “Not more than one user per ring set”; “Do not adjust when in use”; assembly and adjustment details; a diagram showing the re
