Themanufacturershallindicatethelimitingserviceconditionsforproductsforsoilerosioncontrolsuchas piledflower
35、boxes,bankswithvegetationetc.,suchasamaximumheightand,possibly,occasionalloadfor accesstoormaintenanceoftheworks. Safetyinuseshallbecheckedbydesignortestloading.Moreover,forfixedproducts,theproducershall provideguidelinesforerection,handlingandintendedusage. 4.3.5Weathering resistance 4.3.5.1 Produc
36、tsforexternaluse,notsubjectedtofreeze/thawconditions Fornormalweightconcrete,waterabsorptionshallnotexceed7,5%(see5.4). 4.3.5.2 Productsforexternaluse,subjectedtofreeze/thawconditionsandnotincontactwithde icingsalt Productsforexternalusenotincontactwithdeicingsaltareexemptedfromdirectfreeze/thawtest

41、use.Thesekindsofrequirementsshall onlybeconsideredwhenrelevant.Aproductmayhavetomeetseveralspecificrequirements. Thepropertiesoftheproductswhichindicatethefitnessforuseshallbedemonstratedbythemanufacturer. Forexample: bicyclestandsshallhavedimensionsanddimensionaltolerancessoastoreceiveandtoholdbicy
42、cles safely(e.g.bicyclesinarowshallnottoucheachotherscablesorsteering); productsintendedtocontainwatershallbewatertightundertheappropriatecondition; productswithelectricalconnectionsshallbecheckedforconformitywithapplicableelectricalsafety regulations;theyshallsatisfyavarietyofperformancecriteriainc
