Themanufacturershallindicatethelimitingserviceconditionsforproductsforsoilerosioncontrolsuchas piledflower

35、boxes,bankswithvegetationetc.,suchasamaximumheightand,possibly,occasionalloadfor accesstoormaintenanceoftheworks. Safetyinuseshallbecheckedbydesignortestloading.Moreover,forfixedproducts,theproducershall provideguidelinesforerection,handlingandintendedusage. 4.3.5Weathering resistance 4.3.5.1 Produc

36、tsforexternaluse,notsubjectedtofreeze/thawconditions Fornormalweightconcrete,waterabsorptionshallnotexceed7,5%(see5.4). 4.3.5.2 Productsforexternaluse,subjectedtofreeze/thawconditionsandnotincontactwithde icingsalt Productsforexternalusenotincontactwithdeicingsaltareexemptedfromdirectfreeze/thawtest

37、s(see5.7) iftheymeetbothofthefollowingrequirements: a) fornormalweightconcrete,thewaterabsorptionshallbelessthan7%inmass;forlightweightconcrete, thewaterabsorptionshallbelessthan15%inmass; b) fornormalweightconcrete,theminimumstrengthclassshallbeC30/37;forlightweightconcrete,the minimumstrengthclass

38、shallbeLC12/13.EN13198:2003(E) 8 Whenthedirectfreeze/thawtest (see5.7)isusedandifappearanceisimportant,afterthetest,no projections,depressions,flakesorcrazesshallbevisibleontheproductfromadistanceof2mindaylightand drysurfaceconditions. 4.3.5.3 Productsforexternaluse,subjectedtofreeze/thawconditionsa

Whenthedirectfreeze/thawtestwithdeicingsalt(see5.8)isused,themaximummasslossshallbe 1,5kg/m 2 . 4.3.6Other requirements Someproductshaveadditionalrequirementslinkedtotheirspecific

41、use.Thesekindsofrequirementsshall onlybeconsideredwhenrelevant.Aproductmayhavetomeetseveralspecificrequirements. Thepropertiesoftheproductswhichindicatethefitnessforuseshallbedemonstratedbythemanufacturer. Forexample: bicyclestandsshallhavedimensionsanddimensionaltolerancessoastoreceiveandtoholdbicy

42、cles safely(e.g.bicyclesinarowshallnottoucheachotherscablesorsteering); productsintendedtocontainwatershallbewatertightundertheappropriatecondition; productswithelectricalconnectionsshallbecheckedforconformitywithapplicableelectricalsafety regulations;theyshallsatisfyavarietyofperformancecriteriainc

43、ludingoneormoreofthefollowing: strength:thecapacityofthesetoresisttheforcestowhichtheywillbesubjectedduringtheirlifetime includingthosecausedbyexternalloads,restraintorimposeddeformationsandthoserequiredto maintainstability; ductility:strictlydefinedastheabilityofthesetoaccommodaterelativelylargeinelasticdeformations withoutasignificantdecreaseincapacity;theyshouldhavecapacitytosustainoverloadswithout precipitousstrengthloss; durability:theresistanceofthesetotheadverseeffectsofvariationsintemperatureandexposureto moistureorothercorrosiveagents,acc
