18、peraturerangefrom270 Cto+65C; maximumnominalpressure:80bar; nominalsize(DN)from10to100. Permanentconnectionssuchasflangesandunionsarenotcoveredbythisstandard. Itisintendedthatthecouplingsshouldbedesigned,testedandmarkedforserviceatoneofthegenerallyaccepted pressuree.g.PN40.Couplingscanthenbeselected

24、hallbeabletobeconnectedanddisconnectedwithinthefulldesigntemperaturerange.Themethodof assemblingandnecessaryforceshallbespecified.Thecouplingshallbesodesignedthatthenecessaryforceto connectordisconnectitmaybeappliedbyhandtoolsinacontrolledmanner. Thedesignshallbesuchthatdisconnectionunderpressurewil

25、lbeobviousbyaudiblegasventingorothermethod beforecompletedisconnection. Thedesignshallbesufficientrobusttowithstandworstanticipatedhandlinge.g.droponpavementandthe hammeringetc. Theburstpressureshallbemorethanthreetimesthenominalpressurewithinthedesigntemperaturerange(see 5.3.4). Couplingsshallbelea

26、ktightinaccordancewith5.3.3. Couplingsshallbemadeinsuchawaythatanticipatedvibrationsfromvehicleengine,pumporpulsatingflowmay notcauseleakage. Couplingsforflammablefluidsshallbeelectricallyconductivefromoneendtotheother(electricalresistanceless than0,5 ) Couplingsshouldhaveadequateprotections,suchasa

27、caporaplug,formatingsurfacesandthethreadagainst damageorcontamination.Thedesignofanycaporplugshouldtakeinconsiderationthepossibilityofleakageof residualproduct. Ifsealsareusedtheyshouldbedesignedforlonglifeoreasyreplacementandaninstructionformaintenanceshall begiven. 4.2Materials Allcouplingsshallbe

28、madeofmaterialscompatiblewithmaterialsofthevesselpipingequipment,theflexible hosesandthefluidconveyed. Amaterialissaidtobecompatiblewhenitdoesnotleadtoanyviolentreaction(ignition)oranyslowreaction (detrimatalageing)thatmayoccurduringexpectedlife. Ifthespecifiedminimumtemperatureisequaltoorbelowthebo

29、ilingpointofairorthecouplingisintendedfor oxygenservicethematerialshallbeoxygencompatibleinaccordancewithEN17971. Ametallicmaterialswhichexhibitaductile/brittletransitionshallhaveminimumimpactvaluesinaccordancewith EN12521andEN12522. Metallicmaterialswhichcanbeshowntohavenoductile/brittletransitiond

30、onotrequireadditionalimpacttest. Nonmetallicmaterialsaresofarwellestablishedonlyforuseassealingmaterials.Ifsuchmaterialsaretobeused forstructuralpartstheyshallatleasthavepropertiesinaccordancewiththerequirementsabove. Theaboverequirementneednottobeappliedonprotectioncapsandplugs. Thecouplingmaterial

31、sandsolderingalloyshallcontainlessthan70%copper,ifitisspecifiedformixtures containingacetylene. Materialsshallberesistanttonormalatmosphericcorrosionandinducedstresscorrosion.EN13371:2001(E) 6 Materialsshallberobustenoughtowithstandstandardizedtestingconditionsinaccordancewith5.3. 5Prototype tests 5

32、.1General Threesamplecouplingsshallbetested.Theyshallberepresentativeofthecouplingstobeproduced. Thetestresultsshallberecordedinawrittenreportasareference. 5.2Inspection 5.2.1 Designverification Thecouplingshallbeinspectedtoensurethatitsatisfiestherequirementofclause4. 5.2.2 Dimensionofthecoupling D

33、imensionsshallbeconfirmedtobeinaccordancewiththedrawings. 5.2.3 Identificationofmaterial Certificationofallmaterialstogetherwithanyweldproceduresandweldersqualificationshallberecorded. 5.2.4Cleanliness check ItshallbecheckedthatthecouplingmeetstherequirementofEN12300. 5.3Testing 5.3.1General Couplin

34、gsshallbeassembledinaccordancewiththeoperatinginstruction. 5.3.2 Pressuretest Theassembledcouplingshallbesubjectedtoahydraulicpressuretest,atambienttemperature(2010)C,equal to1,5timesthenominalpressure.Thepressureshallbeheldforaminimumof3min.Thereshallbenovisual leaksandnovisualdeformation. Asanalte

35、rnativetothehydraulictestitisalsopermissibletoperformapneumatictest,atthesamepressure, providedthatthenecessarysafetyprecautionsaremet. 5.3.3Leak tests TheassembledcouplingsshallbeleaktestedatambientandcryogenictemperaturesandbothatPNandat 0,5bar.Theleaktestatambienttemperaturemaybebyimmersioninwate

36、r.Thetestatcryogenictemperature maybebyimmersioninacryogenicfluidbutothermethodsofequivalentorbetteraccuracyarepermitted.Thetest gasfortheambienttesttemperatureshouldbeN 2 orairandforthecryogenictestHe. Couplingswithaspecifiedminimumtemperaturenotlowerthan196Cshallbetestedatatemperaturenot greaterth

37、anthespecifiedminimumtemperature.Couplingswithadesigntemperaturelowerthan196Cshallbe testedatatemperaturenotgreaterthan196C.Adeviationinthetemperaturemeasuredof+/10%(inC)is alloweddependingonthepracticalconditionsoftesting.Ambienttemperatureshallnotexceed25Candthe humidityshallbenotlessthan40%. Thel

38、eaktestshallnotbestarteduntilthecouplinghasreacheditsstabletesttemperature.Aretighteningofthe couplingwhencoldshallbepermittedinaccordancewiththeoperatinginstructions.EN13371:2001(E) 7 Thecouplingleakageratefornonflammablefluidsforthewarmorcoldtestshallbelessthan1mbarl/sxDN (1000Nmm 3 /sxDN)andforfl

39、ammablefluids10 2 mbarl/sxDN(10Nmm 3 /sxDN). 5.3.4Strength test Theassembledcouplingsshallbehydraulicallytestedatambientconditionsatapressureof3timesPN. Leakageshallbeacceptedbutnobursting. 5.3.5Functional test Thecouplingshallbeassembledandtightenedinaccordancewiththerelevantoperatinginstructions.I

40、tshallthen bedisconnected.Eachoftheseoperationsshallberepeateduntil500cycleshavebeencompleted.Thereafter eachofthecomponentsofthecoupling,excludingseals,shallbevisuallyinspected.Grossdeformation,gross wearorcrackingshallbecauseforrejection. Iftheresultsofthevisualexaminationareambiguousthiscanbesupp

41、lementedbyaliquidpenetratetest. 6 Cleaningandpackaging CouplingsshallsatisfytherequirementsofEN12300. 7Marking Thecouplingsshallbepermanentlymarkedwiththenominalpressure(PN),fluidorfluidgroupthespecified minimumtemperatureandENnumberofthisstandard.EN13371:2001(E) 8 AnnexZA (informative) Clausesofthi
