31、xceed0,2mg/lincoldwaterand0,5mg/I inheatedwater(see4.2). 4.2 Directcurrentgenerator Theelectricalapparatus,connectionsandmountingsonsiteshallbeinaccordancewithEN603351.The DirectCurrentGeneratorwithitsconnectionstoanodes,cathodesandotherappliancesshallbein accordancewithEN55011. TheDCoutputshallbeco

32、ntrolledasafunctionofthewaterconsumption. Thecurrentshallbelimitedtoensurethattheamountofdissolvedaluminiumconcentrationdoesnotexceed thepermittedvalueofthenationalregulations. ThereshallbevisualindicationoftheoperatingstatusoftheDCgenerator. TheDCgeneratorshallbedesignedtoallowthesummation of thene

33、cessarycurrentdemandforeachtreated watercircuit.EN14095:2003(E) 7 4.3Water meter Animpulsewatermeter(orimpulseflowmeterorinductiveflowratemeter)inaccordancewithISO7858 (parts1and2)shallbeinstalledinlineinthecoldwaterinletinfrontoftheconditioningtanktoregulatethe directcurrent,inaccordancewithvariati

34、oninwaterflow. Alternativelyawatermetertomeasurethetotalconsumptionofthewaterconditionedandaflowmetertogive informationtotheDCgeneratorshallbeinstalled. 4.4Anodes Thealuminiumquality,whichisusedtomanufacturetheanodesshallbeapprovedforcontactwithfoodstuff accordingtoEN5733andEN602. 4.5Conditioning ta

35、nk 4.5.1Volume Thevolumeoftheconditioningtankshallbesufficienttoallowaconditioningtimeofatleast15min. 4.5.2Access ThetankshallbefittedwithanaccessformaintenanceapplyingTable3(classA)andTable4(classB) of prEN12897. 4.5.3Cathodic protection Ifacomplementarycathodicprotectionisnecessarythentherequireme

36、ntsofEN12499shallbeobserved. 4.5.4 Aerationandairrelease Thetankshallbefittedwithanautomaticcorrosionresistantaerationandairreleasevalvetoconformto EN12499. 4.5.5Sludge drain Aballvalveshallbefittedatthelowestpointoftheconditioningtank.Itsdiametershallbeequaltothe diameterofthewaterinletbutnomoretha

37、nDN50evenifthewaterinletdiameterislarger.Foravertical tank,thesludgedrainoutletshallbeweldedtothecentreofthetankbottom.Forahorizontaltank,thesludge drainfittingshallbeweldedtothebottomoftheoppositesideo f thewaterinlet. 4.5.6 Heatingcoil Ifthereisaheatingcoilintheconditioningtank,thetubesmustbewidel

38、yspacedtoavoidaccumulationof sludgeandscale.Thetubesshallbepositionedonasquarecentreconfiguration. 4.5.7 Backflowprotection ThetankshallbeprotectedagainstbackflowofsludgeintothesupplysysteminaccordancewithEN1717.EN14095:2003(E) 8 5Performance requirements 5.1DC generator EachtypeofDCgeneratorshallbe

39、testedfortheaccuracyofthedeliveredcurrentinaccordancewiththe waterflow,andfortheconformityto4.2above.Thisshallbedoneonatestingbench(seeFigure 1) simulatingtheflowmeterandthevariability of theimpedanceaccordingtochangesofoutputcircuitload. TheconsistencyoftheoutputcurrentfromtheDCgeneratorshallbetest

40、edforvaryingconditions,by variationoftheconductivityandwaterconsumption.Thereshallalsobealongtermoutputconsistencytest. Ineachtestthecurrentshallberecordedfora10 min period,aftera5 minstabilizationperiodatthe minimum,50%ofthemaximumandthemaximumlevelstipulatedbythesystemmanufacturer. Foreach10minper

41、iod,thecurrentoutputshallnotexceed+5%nor5%oftheregulatedvalue. Ifunderhighflowrateconditions,itispossible,duetointegralfunctionofthecurrentcontroller,forthe aluminiumconcentrationtoincrease,itshallbeverifiedthatthemaximumdosagecannotbeexceeded. 5.2Terminals 5.2.1 Pressuretest Whensubjectedtoahydraul

42、icpressureof2timesthenominalpressureforaperiodof10minto12minno visibleleakageshalloccur. 5.2.2 Insulationtest Thereshallbeameasurabledifferenceinpotentialbetweentheflangeandtheanodeconnection(see6.4.2) 6 Performancetesting 6.1 Testbench 6.1.1General Thetestingbenchincludesfollowingitems: 6.1.2Rack T
