Attheendoftheexposure,thetestspecimensareassessedbeforeand/oraftercleaningbyvisual examinationand/orchang

26、einphysicalproperties,e.g.tensilestrength. Theresultsofthetestspecimensexposedtobiologicalattackarecomparedwithunexposedspecimens. 29、strengthevaluation. 5.4 MethodB1:Fungalgrowthtestonacompleteagarmedium Thetestspecimensareexposedonacompletenutritivemedium(agarmediumwithacarbonsource)toa standardizedmixedsporesuspensionofthetestfungi.Thetestfungicangrowontheagarmediumandon thetextile,ifthetextileisnotprotectedagainstfungalgrowth.

30、Thestandardcontainsfungifortestingcellulose orcellulosecontainingtextiles.Theinfluenceofthetestfungiisevaluatedbygrowthrating(determinationof theantimycoticeffect)andbytensilestrengthevaluation(determinationoftheresistanceofthetextileagainst biodeterioration). 5.5 Antimycoticeffectofatextilematerial

Tensilestrengthevaluationallowsthedetermination

35、oftheresistanceofatextileagainstmicrofungi.Tensile strengthtestsarenecessaryfortestingtheresistanceofcellulosictextiles.
