33、on Test methods and data FOREWORD 1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote international co-operation on all questions concerni

To this end and in addition to other activities, IEC publishes International Standards, Technical Specifications, Technical Reports, Publicly Available Specifications (PAS) and Guides (hereafter referred to as “IEC Publication(s)”). Their p

International, governmental and non-governmental organizations liaising with the IEC also participate in this preparation. IEC collaborates close

While all reasonable efforts are made to ensure that the tec

Any divergence between any IEC Publication and the corresponding national or regional publication shall be clearly indicated in the latter. 5) IEC itself does not provide any attestation of conformity. Independent certification bodies provid

48、-1:2010 IEC 60079-20-1:2010 (E) 6 EXPLOSIVE ATMOSPHERES Part 20-1: Material characteristics for gas and vapour classification Test methods and data 1 Scope This part of IEC 60079 provides guidance on classification of gases and vapours. It describes a test method intended for the measurement of the

The method does not take into account the possible effects of obstacles on the safe gaps2. This standard describes also a test method intended for use in the determination of the auto-ignition temperature of a chemically pure vapour or gas in air at atmospheric pressure. The tabulated val
