20、onents within the scope of IEC technical committee 48. This test may also be used for similar devices when specified in a detail specification. The object of this test is to define a standard test method to assess the ability of components to be stored and/or to function in a specified manner under

21、specified conditions of low air pressure, for example high altitude. 1.2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. When required by the detail specification, the specimen sh

24、all be mated and unmated as many times as specified prior to testing. For each test carried out, the detail specification shall specify the condition of the component, for example mated or unmated. 2.2 Wiring of specimen Specimens shall be wired as specified in the detail specification. 2egaP BSEN60

26、ir pressure, using the degree of severity specified in the detail specification. The duration of exposure shall be 5 min, unless otherwise specified in the detail specification. 3.2 Initial measurements Initial measurements shall be carried out as specified by the detail specification. 3.3 Measureme

27、nts during the test When required by the detail specification, the following test shall be carried out at the end of the test, while the specimen is still at the specified low pressure: Voltage proof: IEC 60512-4-1, Test 4a. 3.4 Final measurements The specimens shall be subjected to the following te

28、sts, unless otherwise specified in the detail specification and shall meet the requirements specified in the detail specification: Visual examination: IEC 60512-1-1, Test 1a. 4 Details to be specified When this test is required by the detail specification, the following details shall be specified: a
