20、ng connectors within the scope of IEC technical committee 48. This test may also be used for similar components when specified in a detail specification. The object of this test is to define a standard test method to assess the solderability of the terminations of a component designed for use with p
21、rinted boards or for other applications using similar soldering techniques. 2 Normative references The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this part of IEC 60512. For dated references, subsequent amendments to, or revisions

However, parties to agreements based on this part of IEC 60512 are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the normative documents indicated below. 24、 the wetting balance method 3 Preparation of the specimen The specimen shall consist of a single termination of a component. Unless otherwise specified in the detail specification, the terminations may not be cleaned or degreased prior to the application of the solderability test. Care should be tak
25、en not to touch or otherwise contaminate the terminations to be tested. 4 Procedure The test shall be carried out in accordance with test Ta of IEC 60068-2-54. 26、plied, one of the ageing procedures detailed in 4.5 of IEC 60068-2-20 shall be prescribed in the detail specification. 4.2 Flux Non-activated flux as specified in Appendix C of IEC 60068-2-20 shall be used. Activation with diethylammonium is not permitted. 5 Final measurement Recording of the force-
27、time curve. 6 Requirements The acceptabIe values of the different parameters prescribed in the detail specification shall be fulfilled. 7 Details to be specified When this test is required by the detail specification, the following details shall be specified: a) preparation of the specimen, if devia
28、ting from clause 3; b) accelerated ageing method, according to 4.1; c) immersion depth; d) duration of immersion; e) number of specimens to be tested; f) minimum wetting force; g) time interval for the minimum wetting force; h) further parameters from the force-time curve and their acceptable values
