Classification VRBs specified in this standard are classified according to their acciiracy classes as defined in Sub-clause 2.23 as: a) 0.0001,0.0002,0.0005,0.001,0.002, 0.005, 0.01, 0.02,0.05, 0.1 b) 1 PPM, 2 PPM, 5 PPM, 10 PPM, 20 PPM, 50

3、 PPM, 100 PPM, 200 PPM, 500 PPM, 1 000 PPM* The class index of a VRB may be expressed either in percent using a) or in ppM using 6) or both. 4. Limits of intrinsic error VRBs shall comply with the relevant limits of intrinsic error specified for their respective accuracy classes for the duration of

4、one year from the date of certification associated with delivery or another date to be agreed upon by the manufacturer or responsible supplier and the user, provided that the conditions of use, transport and storage specified by the manufacturer are complied with. Norc. - For VRBs, stability of rati

5、o with regard to time is an essential characteristic. Here, it is specified only for the duration of one year, but experience has shown that the rate of change of ratio due to ageing effects decreases with time. 4.1 Perniissibic lnits of intrinsic error given in Table I relating to its accuracy clas

Nore. - When the nature of the test is appropriate, the effect of a d.c. parasitic voltage may be reduced by reversing the polarity of the input voltage and by taking the average of the two measured values. 34、 : 1979 APPENDIX A DETERMINATION OF THE EFFECT OF COMMON MODE VOLTAGE (see Figure 2) The VRB shall be connected to a source of the rated input voltage applied to the input terminals for the The output terminais are connected to a d.c. potentiometer. The case of the potentiometer and the common termi

35、nals of the potentiometer and the VRB are connected to earth. The case of the VRB (and other parts of it which are normally connected to earth) are isolated from earth and connected to one pole of a source of d.c. common mode voltage. The other terminal of this source is connected to earth. highest

36、range. The leakage current screen (circuit), if any, of the VRB is connected as for normal use. The variation due to common mode voltage is given by the difference between the potentiometer dial setting with the common mode voltage source replaced by a short circuit and the potentiometer dial settin

37、g with the common mode voltage source set to the stated value for both polarities of the common mode voltage source. The variation due to the common mode voltage is the larger of the differences so obtained. Nore. - When the VRB includes auxiliary equipment, the voltage between this equipment and th

38、e enclosure of the VRB has to remain, during the test, the same as in normal operation. This may need special precautions such as an isolating transformer.
